Our Purpose and Mission

The purpose and mission of Hospice Care Options is to provide compassionate palliative care to the terminally ill patient utilizing a coordinated interdisciplinary team approach allowing death to occur naturally in a home like setting with peace and dignity.

We are your neighbors

All of our operations are in Georgia. The owners, executive management, and local agency staff all live in work in the area we serve. To learn more about our team, click here.

Each prospective employee is carefully screened before hire. Only those with the education, experience, and commitment for quality care are allowed to join our organization.

All decisions are made locally

All of the decisions about your care are made at the local agency, not in another far away city or state. A team of highly trained local professionals and you doctor work closely together to provide you with the best care available. To learn more about our local agencies and staff, click here.

You may keep your doctor

Although the Hospice Care Options Medical Director will review your care, you are able to keep your current doctor. We believe this is the best available option for our patients and families.

You may receive your prescriptions from a local pharmacy

We will arrange for you to receive your medications related to your care from a local contracted pharmacy. We do not use mail order, and work closely with the local pharmacist to ensure you have the medication you need.

Hospice is 24/7 family-centered care for those with terminal diseases. Care is provided at your home, a skilled nursing facility, or a hospital when a higher level of medical care is needed.
